Grants to Illinois local governmental agencies, school districts, park districts, nonprofit organizations, and public institutions of higher education for environmental projects in eligible areas. Applicants must submit a pre-application prior to submitting a full proposal. Funding is intended to support activities and projects that preserve, protect, and restore the natural and cultural resources along the Illinois Lake Michigan shoreline.
