Foundation / Corporation
Toshiba America Foundation (TAF)
Grants of up to $1,000 to USA K-5 teachers at public and nonprofit private schools to support classroom-based math and science projects. Funding is intended for projects that make learning math and science fun, innovative ideas that improve STEM learning, and project-based learning that will result in measurable outcomes.
The Foundation strongly encourages projects planned and led by individual teachers or teams of teachers for their own classrooms.
Many successful grantees have designed projects that tap into the natural curiosity of their students, enable students to frame their own scientific questions, and incorporate the expertise of community partners.
Applications must be for project-based learning and funding may be used for project materials only.
