Grants of up to $3,000 and grants of up to $10,000 to Illinois organizations for events that promote tourism in eligible regions. Funding is intended to assist organizations in creating self-sustaining events. Eligible events are those that support local businesses, attract visitors, initiate over-night stays, and enhance the quality of life in the Village. This grant program is established to assist new and on-going events that are held in Morton. If parts of the event take place outside of Morton, only expenses for those parts taking place within Village limits will be considered during the grant application review.
