In-kind grants of mentorship and free office space to USA, Canada, and International health-based startups to promote entrepreneurial potential. The program's goal is to bring together health startups with entrepreneurs for the purpose of solving problems, promoting innovation, and transforming healthcare. The MassChallenge community comprises startups, Champions, business mentors, medical healthcare professionals, digital health enthusiasts, and people passionate about their shared mission of improving health through entrepreneurship. Program judges look for high-impact startups, with a viable path to success and some traction/progress in their plans.

MassChallenge expects active, consistent engagement in the accelerator program. This requires regular, physical presence from at least one team founder in your MassChallenge office for the duration of the accelerator program you are participating in.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applications are accepted from industry-focused startups from anywhere in the world. Eligible startups are those that have raised less than $10M in equity-based funding and generated less than $10M in revenue.

Prospective startups should be developed enough to work collaboratively with a large business or institution.

Pre-proposal Conference:

An Application Launch Event will take place on September 12, 2019.

Pre-Application Information:

Prospective MassChallenge startups submit application(s) for the MassChallenge accelerator program(s) they would like join. After submitting the application, startups will participate in one or two rounds of judging. At the end of these judging rounds, the highest-impact and highest-potential startups are invited to participate in the accelerator as Finalists.

Applications must submit the application fee: $45 USD before the early bird deadline, $99 USD before the regular deadline
