THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED IN JANUARY 1997 TO SERVE NEEDY INDIVIDUALS IN THE COMMUNITY WITH EMPHASIS TOWARD SIGHT AND HEARING IMPAIRED. THIS WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED BY SUPPLYING NEEDED EQUIPMENT TO THE LOCAL SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES AND SPONSORING INDIVIDUALS TO THE LIONS CAMP FOR SIGHT AND HEARING IMPAIRED. HOLIDAY FOOD BASKETS ARE ALSO PROVIDED FOR THE NEEDY AND FUNDS ARE PROVIDED TO OTHER LOCAL CHARITIES THAT ASSIST THOSE IN NEED. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE PROVIDED TO DESERVING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, SPAGHETTI DINNER IS PROVIDED FOR THE ELDERLY, AND SIGHT AND HEARING COSTS ARE PAID BY THE ORGANIZATION FOR THOSE IN NEED. PROJECTS THAT SUPPORT THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD RESIDENTS ARE ALSO INCLUDED IN THE LIST OF DONATIONS.
